employees hours against any Job. The screen sample above is the
main project window for our Job Cost software. All the features of
the software can be accessed from this screen. The Setups
buttons on this screen cover information like Employee,
Customers, Vendor, Estimators and Categories.
Each of these is used as a master list so this information can be
entered in and saved for use at anytime on any project. The Category
button; allows the users to setup their own Cost categories to
breakout the details of their jobs. |
|
There is no charge for support or training. |
| These categories can
be defined as anything the user wants. They are used to assign each of
the Jobs Costs into groups to better track |
|
where each and every expense is going
to. The system will keep track of the Overhead percentages for
each Cost Category that you create. These overhead percentages control
how much mark up has been specified for each Category. These
markups can be overridden for each Contract Value on each Job if
necessary.
The amounts entered here are for
default purposes. The system is designed to be flexible to help users
get the results they are looking for. This is not another cookie
cutter software designed as a one size fits all solution.
Reports and Prints
Job Cost comes loaded with different types of Prints and Report
features. These are all designed to help track and
|
 |
| review the
Jobs progress and track its performance. The main report is the
Job Sheet. The Job sheets gives you a complete breakdown of |
| the jobs
progress. The Job Sheet shows the Project Name and
information. As well as the Customer name and address.
The top of the Job Sheet will have the default Overhead
percentages listed.
The main part of
the Job sheet is a breakout of the Contract Values, these will
be listed line by line. The description will be printed as well
as the total value for the line. The budget amount will
also be listed for each. There are also columns to see the
expenses that have been associated to each line. The
last two columns will show the users their Budgets Vs Expenses,
and Contract Values Vs Expense
Along with the
Job Sheet print there are several other options available. One
of those is the Job Print. This report is designed
to give the user a breakout of all the jobs in the system.

Closed, Pending or All. The user may also
choose the type of print they want, whether it is a list by
Status or Activity by Date and more. There are several
other options for different types of reports that are available
as well. There are Activity reports for Receivables,
Payable and Payroll. See all the activity for each of
these for every project. |
| Contract
Values |
|
| Setting up
the Contract / Budget Values is easy with our Job Costing software.
On the main application window there is a button to Edit
|
| the Contract / Budget
Values. You can setup your Contract Line Items and then use the
Budget Values to breakout each of their costs in as much detail as you
need. This screen
provides the user with all the information about both the Contract Lines
and the Budgeted values that go along with each line. Our Job Costing
software allows the user to enter as many Contract Lines as needed and
to enter as many Budget Values for each line as well. There are no
limits with our software.
When entering the
Contract Lines the user can specify the |
 |
| amount of
each contract value. Then the user can enter the Budget Values for
each Contract line. This is used when trying to see how much has
been scheduled for each part versus how much has actually be done. The
budgeted Values can be costed out to any cost category that has been
created in the system.
Our Job Costing software
works completely stand alone from other programs and does not require
the user to purchase our other modules to work successfully.
However, our Job Costing software is fully integrated with our
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Orders,
Payroll, Inventory and our CAP software. This
gives the uses the full functionality to work across the board in all
